Video Trim Tool
Cut a video down to the part you need. By default it copies without re-encoding, so it is fast and the quality does not change. Switch to re-encoding when you need a frame-exact cut.
Equivalent FFmpeg command

Recommended settings
When it goes wrong
Cut starts in the wrong place
Cause: In lossless mode (the default), the start moves back to the previous keyframe.
Fix: Turn on "Frame-accurate mode (re-encode)" and trim again.
Audio missing
Cause: In lossless mode the audio keeps its original format. If the player does not support that format, there is no sound.
Fix: Turn on "Frame-accurate mode (re-encode)"; the audio then becomes AAC.
Questions
Can I copy-stream (no re-encode)?
Yes. The default lossless mode cuts without re-encoding (-c copy). It is fast and keeps the quality, but the start moves back to the previous keyframe. For an exact cut, turn on "Frame-accurate mode (re-encode)".
Can I cut multiple ranges?
One range per run. Cut each range separately, then join them with the Video Merger.
Long videos?
Input is limited to 500 MB. On phones, a memory warning appears above 200 MB.
